Sarah Goldsmith, PharmD (PGY-1)
Dr. Sarah Goldsmith is from Aurora, Colorado and completed her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. Her clinical interests include behavioral health, substance use disorders, and critical care. Sarah is excited to be completing her PGY-1 at Denver Health because of the wide variety of opportunities offered as an academic level one trauma center, and its commitment to offering care to all people as a safety net institution. In her free time, Sarah enjoys running, hiking, and cooking new recipes.
Michelle Reyes, PharmD (PGY-1)
Dr. Michelle Reyes is originally from Canyon Lake, California and received her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona and her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy. Her clinical interests include ambulatory care, emergency medicine, infectious diseases, and pediatrics. Michelle chose Denver Health to pursue residency training due to the institution's mission aligning closely with her personal values, and the opportunity it provides to deliver exceptional medical care at a Level I trauma center to a unique patient population. Beyond pharmacy, Michelle enjoys camping, hiking, skiing, and spending quality time with her two cats Nemo and Maui.
James Young, PharmD (PGY-1)
Dr. James Young is from College Station, TX. He received a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Colorado State University and his Doctor of Pharmacy from Regis University School of Pharmacy. His clinical interests are in emergency medicine, critical care, toxicology, and infectious disease. James decided to pursue his PGY-1 Residency at Denver Health due to its patient population, level 1 trauma center status, and renown preceptor team. In his free time James enjoys spending time with his young family, hiking, camping, fishing, and hunting.
Tran Nguyen, PharmD (PGY-1)
Dr. Tran Nguyen is from Vietnam and has lived in Colorado for 12 years. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Colorado. Her clinical interests include critical care and infectious disease. Tran chose Denver Health because of its mission to provide high-quality care to the community, its diverse patient population, and the unique learning experiences it offers. In her free time, Tran enjoys spending time with her family, exploring local restaurants and coffee shops, traveling, cooking, and walking around the park.
Caitlin Hart, PharmD (PGY-2, Infectious Diseases)
Dr. Caitlin Hart is from Agoura Hills, California. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from the University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences and completed her PGY-1 residency at the VA Eastern Colorado Health Care System. Her clinical interests within infectious disease include antimicrobial stewardship, public health, emerging infectious diseases, and academia. Caitlin chose Denver Health because of its mission and status as a safety net hospital for the Denver community as well as the exciting rotation opportunities with supportive preceptors. In her free time, Caitlin enjoys reading, board games, boxing, hiking, going to concerts, and trying new restaurants.

Marcus H Hayner Irizarry, PharmD (PGY-2, Ambulatory Care)
Dr. Hayner Irizarry completed his PharmD at the University of Houston College of Pharmacy. He then completed his PGY-1 at Denver Health and stayed on board for his PGY-2 in Ambulatory Care. He grew up in a small town in Puerto Rico (Lajas) and enjoys spending time with family, exercising, and listening to audiobooks. His professional passion is to help serve the underserved and bridge access to services to promote health equity.

Holly Green is the Emergency Medicine Pharmacy Resident with a passion for toxicology and infectious disease. Originally from Colorado, Holly completed her pharmacy education at the University of Colorado, where she developed an interest in the field of emergency medicine.

Rhiannon Montgomery, PharmD (PGY-2, Critical Care)
Rhiannon Montgomery is a graduate of the University of Kentucky where she received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree as well as a bachelor's degree in human health sciences with a minor in music performance. She completed her PGY-1 residency at UCHealth Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs. Her clinical interests include all things critical care and emergency medicine, especially toxicology and trauma.
