Welcome to the Denver Emergency Center for Children, a 24-hour emergency room and urgent care center designed especially for kids.
We provide families with a convenient option by providing emergency and urgent care for children, at a single location.
Our center is equipped to provide care for serious injuries (such as broken bones and head injuries) and also care for other health conditions when a family doctor is not available (such as earaches, fevers, flus, colds, etc.)
Not sure if your child needs emergency or urgent care services?
No worries – our staff is here to help treat any medical condition – whether it is an emergency or something that requires urgent care services. We will make sure that your child gets the appropriate level of care – all at a single location, 24 hours a day.
Our pediatric doctors, nurses and Child Life Specialists have a wealth of experience in pediatrics and are at your service to diagnose and treat your children.

Portraits of Hope stopped by Denver Health recently to paint with Denver Health pediatric patients, doctors, paramedics and Child Life Specialists. The large murals will be placed on Aspen, Colorado’s entire fleet of emergency vehicles.
These vehicles will appear in Aspen in June and will be active through October.
Our patients had a blast and our staff members (Drs. Katie Bakes and Denis Bensard are pictured here) had a great time as well.
