Updated: Peña Southwest Urgent Care Summer Hours Changing
September 11, 2020
Update September 11, 2020: Starting Sunday, September 13, 2020, Denver Health's Peña Southwest Family Health Center will be open again on Sundays from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Original article: Starting on Sunday, May 10, Denver Health's Peña Southwest Family Health Center, including Peña Southwest Urgent Care, lab and radiology will be closed on Sundays. The Sunday closure will remain in effect through August of 2020. This change is due to expected lower patient volume during the summer months.
Patients in the Denver metro area needing urgent care on Sundays are encouraged to visit one of Denver Health's other urgent care locations that remain open on weekends – either the Adult Urgent Care Center, open from 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. daily, or for children, the Pediatric Urgent Care Center, open 24 hours. Both locations are inside Pavilion A on the main Denver Health campus, at 777 Bannock St.
The Peña Southwest Urgent Care remains open to help patients with injuries and illness that cannot wait for a doctor's appointment from 9 a.m. - 8 p.m. Monday - Friday and from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Saturday.
All five of Denver Health's Urgent Care locations are safe places to go for care during the COVID-19 pandemic. Read more about the special measures we have taken in our urgent care and emergency department to protect patients from the spread of the virus.
