Denver Community Health Services provides HIV primary care services for patients at our Eastside Family Health Center, Wellington Webb Center for Primary Care, Lowry Family Health Center and the Federico F. Peña Southwest Family Health Center.
Beginning in 2024, the EIS Primary Care Clinic has been renamed RED Primary Care Clinic. RED stands for retention, empathy and diversity to reflect the care provided to our patients with HIV. The name change from HIV Primary Care Clinic is part of Denver Health’s commitment to inclusive language and care and is supported by our patients receiving care for HIV.
If you are a new patient seeking HIV care at Denver Health, please contact our Linkage to Care Team at 303-602-3652.
Our Services
The RED Primary Care Clinic allows HIV patients to be seen in a primary care office setting alongside other patients seeking care at the location. This provides our patients with anonymity and the comfort of receiving care in a traditional office setting.
Our internal medicine physicians and nurse practitioner are specially trained to provide routine medical care services to all populations, and they are highly experienced in HIV treatment, PrEP and transgender health. This means that our doctors treat the whole person and their medical conditions, not just HIV.
Our clinic is unique in that we provide holistic, multidisciplinary care, including behavioral health care, addiction treatment, clinical social work services, nutrition counseling, transportation services and referrals to other organizations dedicated to providing resources to HIV patients.
