Denver Public Health receives $8 million grant to study TB - Monday, November 16, 2009

Denver Public Health (DPH) recently received an $8 million, 10-year grant from the Tuberculosis Trials Consortium (TBTC) to continue work on evaluating new treatments for tuberculosis.  DPH has been a site in the Consortium for 15 years.

Denver Public Health (DPH) has provided contracted services to the City and County of Denver in epidemiologic investigation of disease since 1949.

DPH provides medical recommendations to the City for disease control, provision of direct disease control services (such as tuberculosis, HIV, and sexually transmitted disease clinics and immunizations), administration of vital records and the maintenance of vital statistics (such as births and deaths). These services are available to all City and County of Denver citizens.

DPH services include:

  • Tuberculosis Clinic
  • Sexually Transmitted Disease Clinic
