Denver Health is committed to providing primary care services for the population of Denver and recognizes the important role a primary care physician plays in health care--which is why Denver Health is proud to have the Community Health Services division.
Denver Health's Community Health Services (CHS) is the second oldest and largest community health center program in the United States.
In its 42-year history, the CHS network has expanded to include eight community health centers and 12 school-based health clinics serving 25 percent of residents in the City and County of Denver. Combined, the CHS health centers see more then 320,000 patients every year and provide on-going primary care that is essential for staying healthy. In addition to providing primary care, CHS also provides other preventive and community services vital to the city of Denver including the Mobile Mammography program and the Community Voices program.
