In March 1966, the nation's second community health center and the first health center west of the Mississippi River, began seeing patients in an old bakery located in Denver's Five Points neighborhood.

Today, the Gipson Eastside Family Health Center is one of the largest clinics of Denver Health and provides comprehensive primary and preventive care for patients of all ages. The clinic also provides complete OB/GYN services and prenatal care provided by doctors and Certified Nurse Midwives.

Services at Eastside: 

• primary care for infants, children, adolescents, adults, seniors, and HIV patients;
• dental services;
• medical laboratory services;
• OB/GYN services (including prenatal care, colposcopy, loop, cryotherapy and birth control); and
• pharmacy services where patients can pick up their medications.
