At a news conference with Denver Police on June 30, Denver Health paramedic Scott Homlar warned of traumatic injuries due to illegal fireworks.  Fireworks are illegal in the City and County of Denver.  They noted that public fireworks displays are the best way to enjoy the July 4th holiday.    

Patricia A. Gabow, M.D., chief executive officer, spoke before the U.S. House of Representative's Committee on Energy and Commerce regarding health care reform. 

Dr. Gabow's testimony urged congress to continue its efforts to reform the health care delivery and payment system to provide high quality, cost efficient and coordinated care to all Americans.
