The Infectious Disease Clinic provides primary medical care to people with HIV infection and consultation for people with other serious infections. serious infections involve the body, mind and spirit and no single care provider can deal with all aspects of this disease. Therefore, the ID Clinic provides on-site access to mental health treatment and a variety of medical specialists for problems that are common among people with HIV infection. Social workers provide counseling, help in obtaining benefits, and coordinate care between Denver Health and other agencies/ institutions. Our outreach team provides additional assistance in the community and in the home for patients in need.
