Denver Community Health Services (DCHS), with its policy making consumer board, DCHS, Inc. is the second oldest, and one of the largest community health center networks in the country. The DCHS network includes eight community health centers, two hospital-based urgent care centers, and 13 school-based health centers that are strategically located in low-income urban neighborhoods throughout the City and County of Denver. DCHS provides primary care services (medical, dental and mental health) to approximately 1 out of 5 Denver residents and 35 percent of Denver’s children.
