Reducing Hospital Associated Infections (HAI): Improving Patient Safety through Implementing Multidisciplinary Interventions

The primary purpose of this project is to implement three multidisciplinary tools for reducing hospital associated infections at six unique sites.  It is expected that these three tools will benefit the six sites in the following ways:

  1. indoctrinate a culture of safety;
  2. contribute to a reduction in HAI related to chest tubes, CVCs, and ventilator use; and
  3. provide a platform for increased collaboration among surgical and medical providers.
