Dental & Oral Care

Denver Health offers dental and oral care to nearly 3,000 patients each year on its main campus and at three community health centers. More complex cases are performed at the Denver Health Medical Center’s 16-operatory dental clinic while pediatric cases are typically seen at the family health centers. We provide the following services:

• Prosthetics;
• Pediatric dentistry;
• Restorative dentistry;
• Endodontic;
• Periodontics;
• Hygiene; and,
• Oral maxillofacial surgery.

Academic Education 

The DHMC Dental Clinic is staffed by dental general practice residents, oral surgery residents, oral surgeons, general practitioners and dental hygienists. Denver Health offers one year residency in general dentistry and a four-year residency in oral maxillofacial surgery.

Residents and fellows have access to the following state-of-the-art equipment, including the following:

• Digital radiography;
• Paperless charting;
• Intraoral cameras;
• Dental microscope; and,
• Adec chairs with fiber optic hand pieces.
