Emergency Services Denver Health's East Grand Community Clinic and Emergency Center in Winter Park, Colorado is staffed by emergency medicine physicians to provide trauma and emergency care. When a family practitioner is not available or you are far from home, our clinic can provide care for injuries and illnesses such as severe flus, cuts, sprains and a number of other health conditions. Walk-ins are welcome, but please call ahead. If your injury or illness is truly minor, our staff may be able to schedule a timely appointment with one of our family medicine physicians. Trauma Services As a Level V Trauma Center, the center's staff is able to evaluate and stabilize trauma victims and initiate fast response in cases when a higher level of care is needed. A trauma-trained nurse is immediately available, and emergency medicine physicians are available upon the patient's arrival. Trauma patients in need of a higher level of care have access to Denver Health Medical Center, a renowned Regional Level I Trauma Center with the highest survival rates among academic centers in the nation. Our emergency medicine physicians will coordinate the transfer to Denver Health Medical Center when needed.
