We welcome you to Denver Health and hope you enjoy your visit. Please take advantage of our many hospital amenities to enhance your experience.

  • Food and Beverage
    Patients are provided room service during their stay. Additionally, the Good Day Café, located in the basement of Pavilion A, is open weekdays from 6:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. and weekends from 6:30 a.m. - 2 p.m. for visitors. The Café features sandwiches, pizza, salad bar, taco bar and so much more. Coffee, snacks, salads and sandwiches are also available at the Main Street Café Coffee Shop located on the first floor of Pavilion B. The Coffee Shop is open weekdays from 6:30 a.m. –8 p.m. and weekends from 6:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.
  • Web and Internet Access
    Denver Health provides free wireless Internet access to all patients and visitors. Wireless access is available in all indoor, public areas and patient hospital rooms.
  • Child Life Program
    The Child Life Program is designed to meet the needs of children coping with illness and/or hospitalization and features spaces for relaxing, playing and learning. There are a variety of project rooms for games, arts and crafts, and a library. The Zone also includes an area for kitchen projects and TV studios where kids can produce their own shows. Our Child Life Specialists help children and their families cope with being in the hospital or in a clinic setting. The Child Life ZONE in Pavilion C is a therapeutic and educational sanctuary for pediatric patients and their families or children of patients who are in the hospital!
  • Gift Shop
    Located on the first floor between Pavilions B and C, Main Street at Denver Health offers a selection of food and beverages, floral arrangements, personal items, balloons and gift items.
  • Patient Relations Advocates
    Patient Relations advocates help patients understand their rights as patients. This may include protecting their rights under Health Information Portability and Accountability Act, advocating for people with disabilities to ensure compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, or ensuring patients are satisfied with their experience at Denver Health. Patient advocates communicate Denver Health policies, procedures and services, educate staff on how to provide the best customer service and serve as a resource for both patients and care providers.
  • Strear Family Garden
    This 6,000 square-foot oasis at the hospital’s main entrance, adorned with trees, flowers and a fountain, creates a relaxing and inviting area for patients and visitors at Denver Health.
  • Clinical Social Work
    Denver Health’s social workers help patients and families deal with the many issues they face after a traumatic injury or sudden illness. Our specially-trained social works specialize in crisis intervention, grief and loss support, victim support services, and referrals to other programs and community agencies. Social workers assist patients and families in overcoming social and/or health problems such as: homelessness, mental or physical illness, emotional stress, financial problems, domestic violence, substance abuse, child abuse/neglect, or end of life issues.
  • Safety and Security
    Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, Denver Health’s security officers are responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors and staff. Security can be reached by dialing x67444 from any hospital or clinic telephone or by dialing 303-436-7444 from outside the system.
  • Interpreter Services
    To more effectively serve our patients, Denver Health provides free interpreter service for more than 150 languages. These services may include a medical interpreter or a telephone interpreter through Denver Health’s language line. Should you need an interpreter, please ask your care provider.
  • Pet Therapy
    Volunteer Pet Therapy brings smiles and relaxation to patients at Denver Health. Volunteer pet/owner teams visit patients throughout the hospital to lift the spirits and bring companionship and comfort to those who are away from home.   • Chaplaincy
    We recognize that the emotional and spiritual needs of patients and their families are important aspects for healing. The chaplain group provides guidance and resources to help families dealing with a loved one’s serious injury, illness, or end-of-life considerations. Pastoral Care at Denver Health is an interfaith service respectful of all cultures and religions. Our chaplains provide compassionate support, comfort and hope in the midst of traumatic or stressful events.
