The Position: Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist

The Behavioral Health Service of Denver Health Medical Center is recruiting a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist for a new 16-bed adolescent psychiatry unit. The inpatient service is staffed by two attending psychiatrists, two psychiatric social workers, and a psychologist. The child & adolescent division offers inpatient, outpatient, substance abuse, emergency psychiatric services, and research opportunities.

This is an academic position affiliated with Children’s Hospital Colorado and the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Duties include clinical care, teaching, scholarly and administrative activities. Teaching responsibilities include child & adolescent fellows, psychiatry residents and medical students. Salary and academic rank are dependent upon experience.
